Centered around the theme of “Reunion,” the headline “World Lantern Boulevard” will surround visitors with nearly 3,000 unique lanterns from 20 countries and regions. The event also features four bespoke, mega-sized Qinhuai Lanterns crafted by Nanjing artisans using 1,700-year-old National Intangible Cultural Heritage techniques (“framing, pasting, painting, and cutting”), perfectly blending with local Hong Kong handcrafted lanterns to showcase multicultural harmony.
