If you are new to CALECIM®, you might want to know what we are all about. We are a science-based skin and hair care brand that utilizes its proprietary technology PTT-6® in all its products to promote healthier and more resilient skin and hair. If you have been with us from the start, you would know that our name CALECIM stands for CLCM: Cord Lining Conditioned Media, which is what we used to call PTT-6®. We realized that this wasn’t a catchy active ingredient name and switched it to PTT-6, using the initials of our founding Scientist, and his sixth formulation of stem cell media that now makes up the active ingredient in all our products. When we say we are science-based, we are probably understating it. CALECIM® is part of a bio-tech company that has pioneered medical therapies using cord lining stem cells. Considerable headway has already been achieved with this technology, and we have started and completed phase 1 USFDA Clinical Trials with our collaborators in the USA, leading to a therapy that accelerates wound healing. PTT-6® for CALECIM® has been rigorously researched for its effects on skin and hair, and its results have been published in peer-reviewed journals around the world.
