Last week was another @thefriendlysd “Chef Collab” Special — this time, at the Tavern and with @gansuebsarakham from @stellajeansicecream 🤙🏼 . These Thai Ice Cream Sandos remind me so much of my fave Filipino snacks like Halo Halo and eating ice cream inside of fresh baked Pandesal buns. Even though I’m not Thai, I was still feeling rather nostalgic bc of the similarities, so this was the perfect summer treat! ☀️ . I had my @dairypill on hand. Obvi! The travel tin lets me share with more ppl, and we are all good to go! 🙏🏼 . Pandan Coconut Ice Cream, Housemade Milk Buns, Sweet Sticky Rice, Jackfruit, Pineapple Jam, Condensed Milk, Peanuts — this was such a delicious combination of flavors. So so good! Especially on a nice warm summer evening. 10/10! . @dairypill tackled my entire meal, without me having to rush through eating or having to take more pills. Say it with me, friends, “it’s 6 times stronger than Lactaid!” And if you haven’t had ice cream in a literal bread bun, you are missing out! 😊 . . . #dairypill #lactoseintolerant #lactaseenzyme #thefriendlysd #thefriendlytavern #stellajeansicecream #thaiicecreamsandwich #icecreamsando #icecream #milkbuns foodstagram #foodie #foodies #foodiesofsandiego #northparksd #universityheightssd #sandiego #sdeats #sandiegoeats #sandiegofood #foodiesofinstagram #sdfoodies #eatsandiego #mariaishungryagain
