And it’s not necessarily your instructor's fault either. I’ve been a driving instructor for over 16 years, and it was only recently that I discovered something game-changing for both me and my students. I learned that the reason most students struggle to progress isn’t that they’re bad drivers, but because 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱. Every lesson, you’re getting into the car, having a lecture on a manoeuvre, and then practising it in live traffic straight away. And even if you did understand the brief, the moment the pressures on, you go blank. So you hesitate, panic, and then walk away from that lesson frustrated and dreading the next lesson. But learning to drive shouldn’t be frustrating; in fact, it should be the opposite. For the majority of my students getting their driving license is 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, it opens up new job opportunities, allows you to see places you could have never been before, and gives you the freedom you deserve. So I decided to fix this problem with the 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲.
