Now Hiring: Internal Medicine Physician The Arora Group | Fort Hood (Killeen), TX 💰 Pay Starting at $190 / hr (1099) ✅ Benefits • No RVU model • Direct patient care focus • Relocation reimbursement • Work with an award-winning, Joint Commission-certified healthcare company serving active duty military, their families, and veterans for over 30 years 🧠 Qualifications • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine • Minimum 2 years post-residency clinical experience within the last 3 years in internal medicine (inpatient and outpatient) • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency • Current unrestricted Texas medical license • U.S. Citizen (required for government system access) • Must pass a security clearance background check 📍 Location Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Killeen, TX 76544 (on-site) 💼 About the Role You will provide comprehensive internal medicine care to active duty service members and their families. Responsibilities include: • Diagnosis and treatment of complex internal medicine cases across subspecialties including cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, hematology, endocrinology, rheumatology, infectious disease, and nephrology • Inpatient consultation and attending physician duties • Procedures such as thoracentesis, central line placement, lumbar puncture, joint aspiration and injection, and more • Ordering and interpreting labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests • Coordinating care with emergency departments, specialty services, and multidisciplinary teams • Preventive health, patient education, and counseling • Teaching and mentoring other medical staff 🕒 Schedule Shifts may be scheduled between 0530 and 2300, up to 16 hours per shift, any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
