We are so proud to introduce Arising Stars, a community-based boys and girls soccer team ranging from ages 8-20 years old in 10 miles Lusaka, Zambia. 🌍⚽️ This team was born out of a deep desire to uplift, inspire, and give back to the next generation. In 2021, the Founders Mrs Sandra and Mr Gregory Dereyna of Arise and Shine in Home Care, based in Dallas,TX and Rachel's Farm, Lusaka Zambia🇿🇲 began sponsoring Arising Stars with one mission: to pour into the lives of young people who have so much talent and potential but limited opportunities. The name Arising Stars is inspired from the book of Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” We believe this scripture is a call to action for these young athletes, a reminder that they can rise above their circumstances and shine brightly as God has commanded. Many of these boys and girls had lost hope, but through Football, we are helping them dream again, work hard, and believe in a brighter future. ❤️ This isn’t just a team, it’s a family. Together, we’re building confidence, discipline, and resilience that will take them far beyond the field. We’re excited to share that Arising Stars is now officially registered with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), a huge step forward for this incredible team! 🏆 Right now, they are making waves in their area, standing out as one of the best uprising soccer teams in 10 Miles, Lusaka. This journey is about more than just sports. It’s about restoring hope, creating opportunities, and empowering a generation to rise and shine. ✨🌟 As a Non-profit Organisation, Arising Stars Football Club is driven to help the community, providing a safe space for young people to grow, learn, and thrive. We rely on the support of individuals and partners to continue this vital work. If you're passionate about empowering the next generation, join us in this journey! 💪⚽️ Contact [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] to learn more or get involved. #ArisingStarsFC #wherechampionsrise #NGO #nonprofit #youthdevelopment
