Review: Saguaro Go I The Go I by Saguaro immediately caught the attention of my girlfriend and me with their bold and playful design. But it’s not just the looks that impressed us – the wide-cut sole and the soft, foot-hugging upper material also contribute to an excellent overall feel. The shoes are easy to slip on without needing to untie the laces, thanks in part to the high heel spoiler. Handy pull loops on the tongue and heel make putting them on even easier. The barefoot feel is outstanding. For an even more direct ground sensation, the insole can be removed. One drawback we noticed is the somewhat sensitive upper material. Especially on damp surfaces, dirt seems to get drawn into the fabric along with the moisture. Doch nicht nur das Äußere begeistert – auch die breite Sohle und das anschmiegsame Obermaterial tragen wesentlich zum positiven Eindruck bei. Die Schuhe lassen sich problemlos anziehen, ohne dass man die Schnürung öffnen muss – nicht zuletzt dank des hohen Spoilers an der Ferse. Sowohl an der Lasche als auch an der Ferse befinden sich praktische Schlaufen, die das Anziehen zusätzlich erleichtern. Das Barfußgefühl ist ausgezeichnet. Wer es noch direkter mag, kann die Einlegesohle entfernen und erhält so ein noch besseres Gespür für den Untergrund. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist das empfindliche Obermaterial: Auf feuchtem Untergrund zieht Schmutz schnell in den Schuh ein.
