How to care for your down garment 🪶 To extend the life of your gear, we recommend only washing down products when they truly need it. After a regular wash cycle, run an extra spin without detergent to ensure all soap is fully removed. Skip the rinse aid, as it can damage the down. If air drying, choose a well-ventilated space and give your garment a good shake throughout the process so the feathers don’t settle at the bottom. One important rule: never dry clean down. The chemicals used in dry cleaning can permanently damage the insulation. Not sure if your Fjällräven garment is down or synthetic?
