Well, I still am not ready to launch, but I am ready for your feedback for when I do. It recently occurred to me that I am not using my website to its maximum potential. Well, not really, because that’s actually been true for as long as I've been paying for a site. The ideal situation would be to publish articles daily. But being an old-school weekly beat reporter, it has not hit me with how to do this…Until recently, that is. As a beat reporter, you meet people one at a time and move at a slower, less time-efficient pace. I have been lagging around now for more than a decade, supporting my local NC music scene. It hit me a few weeks ago, while dusting a house, that I need a publicity shop so that y'all can hit me up. So I am creating one on my site, so bands, solo entertainers, event hosts, studio owners, venue owners, sound engineers, open mic night hosts, band management, and booking agencies will have access to my interviews to start the conversation for better promotions. Now they can reach out to me and submit their answers to get the conversation started, instead of waiting for me to reach out or catch them. I need to sell a few articles before I can open a legit WooCommerce account, because that is another $400 a year expense. Before I commit to that, I am and have been working on creating a page where you can access my interviews and return them for publication. For a quick example, I will attach the solo act services flyer I made today. In the comments, I will leave links for the interviews I have crafted. If you'd like me to answer the questions for future publication, the cost is $50 per article. To start, I accept PayPal tips and donations, but I hope to move it over and expand products, including my photos, on a WooCommerce account.
