How I filled my caseload… But first.. DM me the word “PRIVATE” if you’d like me to send over my exact strategy to get you private pay clients :) I wasn’t getting any new calls in my therapy practice until….. 👉🏼 I finally learned to put all my attention and efforts in the main place clients were looking for therapy, which is Google. That was enough value and credibility that they actually reached out to work with me. This strategy allowed me to fill up my private pay caseload within 4 months of starting my practice, and then allowed me to hire 6 other therapists over the course of the next year. Here are the steps I took: ✨ 1. Create a Google Business Profile This is a must. It’s free, and it helps your practice show up on the map when someone searches “therapist near me.” Fill it out completely, get colleague reviews, keep updating it. ✨ 2. Use SEO on your website You don’t need to be a tech expert, just start by writing pages and blog posts using the exact words your ideal client would Google. Such as: 🧠 “anxiety therapy for moms” ❤️ “therapist for postpartum depression” ✨ 3. Add location-specific keywords Make sure your site says what you do and where you do it. For example: “I offer trauma therapy in Austin, TX” instead of just “I help people heal from trauma.” This will help you to actually get to the top of Google. ✨ 4. Build a Psychology Today profile that actually converts. It shows up in search results too! Don’t just list your modalities, speak directly to the client’s pain points. ✨ 5. Be patient but consistent Google takes a little time, but it works. Most of my private pay clients found me from a simple Google search, not Instagram, not ads, not referrals. 🙌🏼 DM me the word “PRIVATE” if you’d like me to personally message you my strategy & how I can help you fill your caseload 💗
