Case Study: How Ecom Nation Rebuilt Strategy and Scaled SWT Into Profitability When SWT Active partnered with Ecom Nation in February 2025, the brand was growing but struggling with stock and maintaining consistent profitability. MER was high, the account structure wasn’t built to scale, and paid media wasn’t efficiently moving inventory. At the same time, the brand was evolving. Shawty was rebranding to SWT Active with the ambition of becoming more than a Queensland label. We wanted to be a global, culture-driving activewear brand. So we rebuilt the entire growth engine. First, we restructured the Meta account to simplify campaigns, improve data clarity, and create a scalable system that could support both launches and BAU growth. Then we helped redefine SWT’s content system. Instead of relying on standard product and lifestyle assets, we introduced a content pillar framework designed for scale and culture. Each collection became its own world — from studio-led empowerment shoots for Shape Me, to sleek everyday styling for Essentials, to paparazzi-style “cool girl” street content for Gym Doll. This gave the media team the variety needed to test faster, scale winners, and keep the brand constantly showing up in new ways across feeds. Paid media also became the mechanism for managing inventory flow — strategically pushing collections, restocks, and hero SKUs so stock sold through efficiently without relying heavily on discounts. We also began laying the groundwork for US expansion, launching early campaigns using proven AU creative to accelerate learning in the new market. By early 2026, the impact was clear. Cost per purchase dropped 64.8%. CTR increased 243%. CPC fell 65%. Revenue grew 24% year-on-year while spend actually decreased 25%. Most importantly, SWT moved beyond their profitability targets. What started as an inefficient ad account became a streamlined, scalable growth engine powered by strong creative pillars, disciplined testing, and a paid media structure built to support a brand that now feels just as at home in culture as it does in the gym.
