Quick thoughts: This was chock full of family secrets, sibling relationships, small town dynamics, loyalty, and an unsolved mystery. And my goodness, it had the strongest sense of place. I could just **picture** the Gray house and the surrounding land. Given that this story takes place over Thanksgiving Weekend, it’s the perfect time to read this. Snowy. Cold. Gripping. Chilling. Atmospheric. Please send me more winter thriller recs! It was a slow burn, so don’t expect an unputdownable page turner, but I did really like it. Also? It’s a debut!
