Ad text
Three years ago when Kekeli arrived at our partner orphanage, Kingdom Care Orphanage in Togo, she was just five years old and had already endured the heartbreak of losing both of her parents. Today, she is nine years old. Kekeli is bright, joyful, and full of determination. She’s in Primary 2, excelling in school, and wants to become a nurse one day so she can help children who are suffering the way she has. Kekeli knows suffering all too well. She lives with a painful condition affecting her bones, rheumatism, that becomes especially severe when the weather turns cold. On those days, the pain in her legs is so intense she cannot walk. She cries loudly, unable to move, while others try to comfort her. Yet even in the midst of it, she keeps smiling. She keeps studying, and more importantly, she keeps dreaming. Doctors have told us that Kekeli needs specialized treatment at a higher-level hospital. However, before treatment can begin, the hospital requires a deposit of 500,000 in local currency, which is over $1,000 USD. Your support can help her receive the care she desperately needs and ensure that children like Kekeli continue to find hope, stability, and opportunity at Kingdom Care Orphanage. To allocate your donation to Kekeli's medical fund, please select "Kekeli's Medical Fund" in the dropdown portion of the donation form where it asks what you would like to support.
