Our first time in Madrid together and with all the different neighborhoods, rich history, and museums to see, it's easily one of our favorite trips ever 🇪🇸 @visita_madrid @turismocmadrid #OnlyInMadrid #ad 1. Enjoying rooftops and church towers, Madrid's skyline hits different at golden hour 2. Every corner felt alive and vibrant, no matter the time of day in Madrid. I loved people watching from this window 3. Churros con chocolate at the famous Chocolatería San Ginés 4. Chinchón - just 45 min outside of Madrid, a picturesque medieval town. Very scenic and walkable streets with local restaurants serving locally made wine and anise liquor 5. Some of my favorite memories were getting lost in Lavapiés and Malasaña, two neighborhoods that couldn't feel more different, both completely Madrid 6. Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial - About an hour outside the center of Madrid - a 16th-century royal palace, monastery, and 8th wonder of the world. 7. The beauty of Chinchón 8. Frescoed ceilings in the Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial 9. Exploring the center 10. El Rastro - an open-air street market held every Sunday, where you can buy clothing and accessories, antiques, and from over 1,000 vendors
