Give your beloved pets a blessing rooted in compassion, loving-kindness, and wisdom. Karuna Buddhist Center warmly invites you and your animal companions to a special Animal Blessing Ceremony at Triple Crane Retreat Center. This meaningful gathering honors the close connection between humans and animals, recognizing animals as sentient beings who seek peace, happiness, and freedom from suffering. Participants are invited to bring their pets or animals to receive blessings for their well-being, longevity, protection, and peaceful lives. All types of animals are welcome. For animals who are unable to travel or may be more comfortable at home, you are welcome to bring a photograph of them so they may still be included in the blessing. The ceremony may include chanting and mantra recitation, sitting and walking meditation, circumambulation with pets, blessed water, exposure to sacred objects, and a small blessed object for your pet to take home. Event Details Sunday, August 30 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Triple Crane Retreat Center Werkner Rd, Chelsea, MI 48118 Please note: All animals should be supervised at all times. Dogs should be leashed and under control. Other animals should be safely contained, such as in a carrier. Shade, shelter, and fresh water will be available. All are welcome to join us for this meaningful day of compassion, blessings, and connection with our beloved animal companions. Registration is required. For questions, please contact Alisa at 720.404.0906.
