Perched on a hillside in the Catskills! Swipe to see our construction process photos ➡️ This build is an ~ 35’ x 45’ footprint with a second story loft over the double-height living space, and a full basement, roughly 2,400 sq ft. The whole thing is sited into the slope to open up the downhill side, so the gable end becomes a wall of glass and every main living space looks straight out at the mountains. Working with the hillside instead of against it also buys a walk-out lower level, better exposure, and a building that sits comfortably on its land 😍 Iron Grey @jameshardie siding, black standing seam metal roofing, and @sierrapacificwindows and @pellawindows windows and doors furnish the exterior elegantly. All of the materials were supplied by our good friends, @interstate_building . Any of the exterior finishes can be adjusted that is one of the many beauties of our system 👌 Our panelized wall system means the exterior was framed, sheathed with, and pre-fitted with windows, doors, and siding in our factory before arriving on site. This kit went together in ~ two weeks (during winter!). The kit came in around $192,000, roughly $80 per square foot, depending on exact final specifications. Watertight in days, predictable in cost, built to look good and to last 💪 If you’ve got a piece of land waiting for something like this, reach out. Our team is ready to help you turn your dreams into reality 🙌
