You bloody beauty. It’s officially open! The opening of the new Tormore Pavilion is without a doubt one of my proudest moments in this job! This one was really special. Not just because it looks incredible but because of the people. New buildings are great. But it’s the people who fill them and the stories they create that are what it’s all about. Can’t thank the Boronia Hawks Football Netball Club and Boronia Cricket Club enough for all their work to make this possible. To Mary Doyle MP - a legend helping to secure $5 million from the Federal Labor Government. And to Knox Council for chipping in a bit and delivering the project. Wonderful to have all three levels of government backing this in with $1.2 million from the State Labor Government. And of course to the great man - Wayne Preston who worked tirelessly. What a guy! Now enjoy. ❤️
