How we count

Ad text

We saw 650 uniforms. But behind each one, we found a story. A daughter who misses home. A young woman learning to stay strong on difficult days. Someone carrying dreams is much bigger than herself. Someone who gets tired, feels overwhelmed, doubts herself sometimes—and still wakes up the next morning, puts on her uniform, and continues. Over two unforgettable days, we had the privilege of spending time with more than 650 women police trainees at the Police Training Centre, Lonavala. We spoke about stress. About homesickness. About emotions that often remain unspoken. About confidence, resilience, mental toughness, and what it truly means to be strong. But perhaps the most important conversation was this— Strength does not mean you never feel tired. Courage does not mean you never feel afraid. And resilience does not mean you have to carry everything alone. These women are training today to protect our society tomorrow. And as we watched their enthusiasm, their discipline, their laughter, and their determination, we were reminded of something deeply important— Those who will stand strong for society also deserve someone to stand for their mental well-being. For us at Manpravah, this was more than a workshop. It was a privilege. A responsibility. And a memory we will carry with immense pride. To every woman in that room— May you never forget the strength you already carry within you. 🤍 If your organization believes in building not just strong professionals, but emotionally resilient individuals, connect with us to bring mental wellness to your space.
