Our love story 💕 At the end of 2020, I (Kelley) was living in Bali, focusing on building my business, nurturing my community, and growing into the woman I desired to be. During this time, I felt the desire to meet my life partner. One day, as I was scrolling on Instagram, I saw a quote that a friend had reposted from a man named Matt Cama. I resonated with the quote, so I went to his Instagram and found that he created content about things I also spoke about and lived in the same town as me! I instantly knew I’d love to go on a date with him. I tried not to get ahead of myself because, from what I could see, he seemed to be everything I was looking for in a man. I prayed to God that Matt and I would connect if it were meant to be, and I followed his account. Let me pause the story there and have Matt share his side of the story... I (Matt) had just finished attending a week-long retreat, where I focused on healing and preparing for a future relationship. After hardly being on my phone the entire week, I turned on my phone, went on Instagram, and saw a bunch of notifications. However, there was one notification that stood out. ‘@kelleymbode has followed you.’ I clicked on her page, saw that we shared many of the same ideas and values, and decided to follow her. Kelley ended up reaching out to me, and we started chatting back and forth for a bit. I decided to ask her if she’d be down to feed fruit to cows and get a coconut at the beach. From that first date, we connected beautifully, and conversation flowed so easily between us. Even though there were a few speed bumps in our first period of dating, Kelley declared that she wanted to be in a committed relationship. I took some time to consider her desire, then met her with a wholehearted yes. ​​Now, we’re not going to list all the events we have shared since then, but here are a few of our highlights: 🐈 We’ve been adopted by 6 stray cats 🌏 Traveled many countries 💗 Merged our businesses 🗣 Ran retreats 💍 Got engaged 💒 Got married 💗 Have our first baby 💕 Have helped a ton of women meet their dream man and create healthy, loving relationships.
