He estado en silencio… sí, en silencio, intentando procesar tanta maldad, tanta injusticia y lo inimaginable que se ha cometido en manos de personas que usan el poder y el nombre de Dios en vano. Ninguna familia y mucho menos ningún niño merece vivir el miedo, la opresión y el terror provocados por quienes claramente no son aptos para manejar poder ni responsabilidades que afecten a muchos. También he estado reflexionando sobre quienes me rodean y que, por razones egoístas, por orgullo y por su incapacidad de reconocer la belleza y dignidad del otro ,sea quien sea, eligieron apoyar la maldad. Esa decisión revela quiénes son y qué valores sostienen. Por mi parte, seguiré sirviendo, apoyando y amando, porque nuestros niños y nuestro futuro lo merecen. Como nos recuerda la Palabra del Creador: “Ámense los unos a los otros. Así como yo los he amado, ámense también ustedes los unos a los otros.” Juan 13:34 I have been silent… yes, silent, trying to process so much evil, so much injustice, and the unimaginable acts committed by people who use power and God’s name in vain. No family and especially no child deserves to live in fear, oppression, and terror at the hands of those who are clearly unfit to hold power or responsibility. I have also been reflecting on those around me who, for selfish reasons, pride, and an inability to recognize the beauty and dignity of others — no matter who they are — chose to support evil. That choice reveals who they are and the values they uphold. As for me, I will continue to serve, support, and love, because our children and our future deserve nothing less. As the Word of the Creator reminds us: “Love one another.
