Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The frog or the tadpole? The butterfly or the caterpillar? The rose or the pollen? The apple or the fruit tree? Men or women? Adults or children? Blood or heart? Cells or genes? Who can use evolutionary theory, molecular biology or any science - but not theology - to answer all these questions? In fact, similar "paradoxes" are all over the world, and anyone can give a new version of it by just slightly modifying it, such as "bird/snake/dinosaur or bird/snake/dinosaur egg first," and so on. In fact, if the chicken (or any species) came first, then there must have been both a rooster and a hen to reproduce the next generation at the same time; if the egg came first, then there must have been both a rooster egg and a hen egg to reproduce. Therefore, if you believe in evolutionary theory/mutation theory, then you must also believe that either "a pair of chickens" have been evolved/mutated at the same time, or "a pair of eggs" have been evolved/mutated at the same time. For me, within the framework of creation theory (including God's creation or extraterrestrial intelligent design), the question is a "paradox," but within the framework of no creation theory (relying on gradualism or mutation theory to explain the origin of species), the question is a "fallacy," which means that the question is logically incorrect, and the species in question does not exist theoretically. I would also like to say that if you say that religion and science are not compatible in logical thinking, then does excluding religion help to answer the many questions in the world? My answer is also negative. In fact, the two gems of the 20th century, relativity and quantum mechanics, are also incompatible (relativity states that space is curved, while quantum mechanics states that space is flat), but everyone accepts that they are correct in their respective areas, so technology has made great strides and brought indescribable benefits to humanity!
