Trout opening day has arrived we have stocked at most location around the state with proposed date for stockings at a few locations and a couple of our community lake locations we are still finalizing stocking dates which will be posted when that date is known. To find the stocking information go to our website at this link: https://ksoutdoors.gov/Fishing/Special-Fishing-Programs-for-You/Trout-Fishing-Program A Trout Permit is required to harvest trout and to fish at Type 1 locations. At Type 2 location a Trout Permit is required to harvest Trout.
