We would like to thank our chiropractic patient, Coach Johnson, for his outstanding leadership as head coach of the UCR Highlanders Baseball program over the past several seasons. During his tenure at UCR, Coach Johnson helped develop a winning culture, producing 29 All-Big West selections and contributing to an impressive seven year streak of at least one Highlander being selected in the MLB Draft. Coach Johnson’s baseball journey began locally at Valley View High School, where he helped guide the Eagles to two CIF playoff appearances. His success on the field continued when he was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays and later played a summer as a free agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Everyone at Mendyk Chiropractic would like to thank Coach Johnson for his dedication to student athletes and the game of baseball. We wish him continued success, health, and happiness in his next endeavors. ⚾ Common Baseball Injuries Treated by Chiropractors: • Shoulder strains and rotator cuff injuries • Elbow pain and throwing-related injuries • Lower back pain • Neck and upper back tension • Hip and pelvic dysfunction • Hamstring and groin strains • Wrist and hand injuries • General sports-related joint and muscle pain Best of luck, Coach Johnson, we’ll be cheering for you every step of the way!
