How to receive eternal life according to the Word of God (KJB) - Step 1. Everyone is a sinner - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory (or moral perfection) of God. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. - Romans 3:23, 3:10. Step 2. There is a price for sin (for breaking God’s commandments - i.e. lying, stealing or coveting - all unrighteousness) – eternal death in hell - For the wages (or penalty) of sin is death. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. - Romans 6:23a, Revelation 21:8. Step 3. Jesus (God in the flesh - the Son of God) paid that price on the cross – Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day in order to pay for all of our sins and to save us from hell (He made a complete payment (or sacrifice) for our sins – He paid our sin debt in full) - For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - 1Peter 3:18, Romans 5:8. Step 4. Receive Christ as Savior (ask Him to save you) – we are saved by faith (or trust) in Jesus’ sacrifice alone without works. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (if you ask Him to save you), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (that is, salvation). Not of works, lest any man should boast. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23b. Once you receive Christ by faith you are eternally saved and you can no longer go to hell. All of your sins, past present and future, are forgiven and covered by the blood of Jesus the moment you believe on Him. Salvation is not by works – it is a free gift to be received by faith (or belief). Once you’re saved, if you do good things (like: reading the Bible, going to church, praying, evangelizing, working hard, etc.), God will reward you and bless you, and if you commit sins, God will discipline (or correct) you on this earth, but there’s nothing you can do to go to hell, because you have received Christ’s payment for your sins (that is, His death, burial and resurrection) by faith. You also have His imputed righteousness (or perfection) - you are considered righteous, holy and perfect before God only because of what Jesus did for you on the cross (you are justified by faith alone in His finished work (Romans 3:28, 4:5-6)). You couldn't be perfect by your own works or efforts - you could not turn from all of your sins and always do good - which is why Christ had to die to pay the penalty and punishment for your sins. If you receive Him in faith and accept His sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, you are saved instantly and forever! Salvation is truly a free gift! If you agree with what I’ve shown you so far, you can pray to receive Christ as Savior (prayer alone does not save you, you must also believe this in your heart) - simply say : ‘’Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, and I deserve to go to hell. But I believe that you died on the cross, were buried and rose again to pay for all of my sins. Please save me right now and give me eternal life. I’m trusting in you alone as my Savior, and not in my own works. Thanks for saving me, Amen’’. So that’s it, you are saved (you can note down today's date as your spiritual birthday - you are now a born-again child of God! (John 1:12, 3:16, 20:31, Acts 10:43)). Please share this message, God bless you all. :)
