His courage helped support one of the most pivotal campaigns of the war, earning his unit a Presidential Citation for its extraordinary service. More than 80 years later, Grover returned to the skies with Dream Flights, proving that the spirit of adventure never fades. Though both of his brothers served in the Navy, Grover often jokes that he ended up in the Army Air Corps because the Navy worried he wouldn't be able to find the ships. That sense of humor remains as strong as ever. It was a privilege to honor Grover and celebrate a life defined by courage, sacrifice, and service to our country.
