As a mom just trying to do her best, the message behind Repair Bear means everything to me. We are humans first, moms second, and the reality is we are never going to be perfect. The other day, my daughter and I got in a little fight. Nothing crazy, but enough that I felt guilty and upset. I went and grabbed Repair Bear and brought it into her room. The second she saw the bear she immediately softened, knowing what my intention was. We read the affirmation card together, hugged and talked about the big feelings we both had moments ago. Being able to have a tangible tool that you can reach for, snuggle, and lean on in moments when you need a little help finding connection has been such a parenting game changer, and I can’t wait for more families to experience the healing power of Repair Bear.
