Community and Institutional Program Coordinator (CIPC) The program coordinator is responsible for maintaining pre-registration, and waitlist for community programming as well as completing intakes, securing payments, and managing files, schedules, and reports. Co-facilitating community programming and managing all facilitators, scheduling, and payments. Working with our Reintegration Specialist for institutional services at the Brandon Correctional Center. Providing reintegration services, release plans, supportive counseling, and advocacy for inmates. Supervision of practicum students, this is to include any necessary paperwork, interviews, maintaining student files, and providing learning opportunities. Knowledge and involvement of community resources and events, client referrals to appropriate resources, and cooperation with other members of the John Howard Society of Brandon team. Skills required: -effective communication; relationship and capacity building -superior time management; exemplary organization abilities -willingness to learn; analytical, critical, creative thinking, and problem-solving -be a motivated, autonomous individual willing to work in a team environment Conditions: • This position works within the office team and reports to the Executive Director. • 35 hour a week, benefits and pension after appropriate waiting periods are complete. • Salary range is $20-$24 an hour depending on education and experience. • Position is contingent on successful completion of enhanced background check.
