Sunny Kids Mindfulness class: Tame The Want Monster!

Sunny Kids Mindfulness class: Tame The Want Monster!

“I want it! I need it!” “But I REALLY want it!” Sound familiar? In this playful, interactive mindfulness workshop, kids will meet their very own Want Monster, that little voice that tells us we have to have something right now. Through storytelling, movement, mindfulness games, and creative activities kids will learn that having wants is completely normal and they can choose what to do with those wants. Kali Ahuja and Jana Stratton will help your little ones unplug and reconnect! This class is designed to help children navigate big feelings while stretching their bodies and imaginations. Each session will include guided relaxation and meditation, giving kids a "tool belt" of techniques they can use at home or school when life feels just a little too big. No yoga mat necessary! Parents are asked to stay for kids 6 and under. Join our little yogis community and connect with other parents seeking healthy mindfulness tools for themselves and their children. Please use your discretion in ages when signing up as every kid develops at a different pace. If you feel your 10 or 11 year old child might benefit please reach out to let us help you decide or just sign them up.
