Urgent update 19 December 2023 - DOUBLE DOOR REFRIGERATOR (model number BS28200) Consumers who have had their double door refrigerator repaired under this recall including the double door refrigerators repaired before 6 March 2023 should turn the refrigerator off immediately and do not use. Consumers with affected refrigerators should contact Electrolux for a refund. Repairs of the refrigerator under this recall were stopped on 16 November 2023. PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL: Do you own a BeefEater single or double door refrigerator, purchased or installed between July 2017 -Nov 2021? Defective models poses a risk of serious injuries or death, and damage to property. There have been multiple fires in these refrigerators causing property damage and injury. If your model is recalled, you should turn off the refrigerator immediately and contact Electrolux for a replacement product or refund.
