We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Toowong team, Ella Gilmour! Ella is a warm, person-centred psychologist who is passionate about supporting and empowering individuals across all stages of life. She takes a relaxed, collaborative, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming approach, valuing the input of clients as the experts in their own experiences and striving to meet people where they are at with curiosity, respect, and genuineness. Her hope is that clients leave sessions feeling valued, understood, and equipped with the insight and practical skills to navigate life in ways that feel meaningful to them. Ella draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Schema-informed Therapy to tailor support to each individual’s needs and goals. Ella particularly enjoys working with autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent adolescents and adults, and aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can show up as their authentic selves. Other areas of treatment include: • Anxiety/phobias • Depression • Stress management • Self-Esteem and confidence • Perfectionism • Emotional regulation and coping skills • Social skills building • Relationship challenges • Addiction Ella has availability to see new clients aged 10+ on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays including outside of school hours appointments. We are so proud to have Ella join our small but mighty Toowong team!
