Small plates, decent wine, outside tables… not a bad little combo when the sun shows up. Here are a few Leytonstone-ish spots worth having on your list: 1️⃣ Le Regret, Leytonstone @leregret_bar Natural wine, small plates, coffee by day and more of a wine bar feel by night. A good one if you want something relaxed but still a bit different. 2️⃣ The Olive, Leytonstone @theolivelondon Great for mezze, sharing plates and sitting outside with a glass of something. Proper food, not just a few bits chucked on a board. 3️⃣ Filly Brook / Sho Foo Doh @fillybrook @shofoodoh Craft beer, wine and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki from Sho Foo Doh. A bit different, very local, and a good shout if you want food and drinks without doing the usual pub garden thing. 4️⃣ Swirl, Leyton @swirl_e10 Slightly outside Leytonstone, but worth the mention. Natural wine, charcuterie, small plates and that easy “one drink turned into three” feel. 5️⃣ Leytonstone Tavern @leytonstonetavern More pub-adjacent, yes, but still good for picky bits, tacos, wings, cocktails and sitting outside when the weather’s behaving. 6️⃣ Yardarm, Leyton @yardarm_leyton A little hop over to Leyton, but worth it if you like good wine, deli bits and somewhere that feels a bit more interesting than the usual suspects. Any Leytonstone small plates spots we’ve missed? Stick them in the comments.
