Despite its age, the mattress was used exclusively as a guest bed and has seen very little use—only about 3 times in the last 5 years and still sparingly the 5 years before that as furniture in a 2 bedroom apartment with only 1 occupant. The Serta iComfort Insight is an all-foam memory foam mattress with no springs. The removable mattress cover has a couple of faint stains but can be unzipped and washed. The mattress itself has been well cared for and remains comfortable. The box spring is approximately 20 years old and has some cosmetic staining, but it remains structurally sound and totally supportive. Condition: • Bed frame: Excellent cosmetic condition with very minimal wear • Nightstand: Good condition with some small dings and scratches consistent with age and normal use • Mattress: Lightly used guest mattress with washable removable cover • Box spring: Excellent structural condition with some cosmetic staining This is a quality solid wood bedroom set from Vaughan-Bassett, not particle board furniture.
