From £8 per child, adults free. 4 Aug — Nature-inspired printing 11 Aug — Wiggly and chattery paper creatures 18 Aug — Friendship bracelets and key rings 25 Aug — Sun and shadow patterns and shapes 1:30pm–3pm: Create/Play Teen Space For ages 12–16. From £8. Pre-booking only. A calm, neuro-affirming space for creative projects, collaborative games and board games. THURSDAYS 10:30am–12pm: A Common Thread For ages 8+. From £8 per child, adults free. Bring a project or join a group make with embroidery, knitting, crochet, pom-poms, weaving and more. Free Croydon Libraries drop-ins 10:30am–12pm — Family Story Time 1:30pm–3pm — Family Rhyme Time For pre-school children and families. Older siblings welcome. SATURDAYS 9am–11am — Community Gardening, ages 10+ 10am–11am — Tai Chi Qigong, ages 18+ 10am–1pm — Café open 1 Aug — Can the Tree Talk? Opening Help create an evolving gallery in our beautiful beech tree. 8 Aug — Creatures Great & Small Garden planning, plant swap, rock painting and silly doggy portraits. 15 Aug — The Bizarre Bazaar Bric-a-brac and craft blanket sale. £5 per pitch. 22 Aug — Whether the Weather... Den-making, nature play, chalk drawing and outdoor games. 29 Aug — Can the Tree Talk? Closing Food, music, celebration and the final day for competition entries. ✨ Competition: Magical Mystery History Create a drawing, comic, poem, story or map inspired by our beech tree.
