"RunLab fixed ITBS injury that lasted more than a year! The whole 2021 I tried to recover from a left knee ITBS: X-ray, MRI, corticoid injection, physical therapy (at another place in town), multiple workout ramp ups and relapses... It was frustrating and I wasn't happy. In just 4 months working with RunLab they fixed it for good, and now I am even a better runner. The major difference at RunLab over other places in town is their gait analysis. Instead of just doing some mobility tests on a bench and prescribe some strength routine, they start by having you on a treadmill and record your running. Dr. Love treated me from the beginning and this gait analysis was the key: they found left leg cross-over, almost backward leaning, and too low of a stride. No wonder why I was relapsing every time! Dr. Love taught me drills to fix all those form defects, strengthening and activations exercises and worked on soft tissue. We started by having twice per week appointments, which was perfect: one day working on running technique and another day to work on soft tissue. Plus, he gave me a plan on how long and what to focus on when running by myself. I just saw improvement from there. First I could fix the cross-over, then managed to improve forward leaning and the one that took more time was picking up my knees up and forward on my stride. Dr. Halasz also had good input on the last one. And this is a good thing about RunLab, you don't just work with one of their doctors, but all of them are available and can be up to date on your process and help when needed. I must give a huge shoutout to Dr. Love. He ended my year long frustration with this injury, and now I can start planning for races again, and with an improved running form that I can already see allows me to run easier and faster. Plus, the appointments with Dr. Love were something I looked forward too. Many running injuries come from overuse on less than perfect running form. And in those cases, RunLab makes the difference for me over other places in town. Plus, now I am not only healed but also a better runner. 100% recommended." - Alex R.
