Events such as festivals, fundraisers, and tournaments are a great way to make the most of your sports club over the summer - but will your existing insurance cover you? While your general club insurance may cover regular training and matches, one-off events (especially those open to the public or outside of standard rugby activity) often require separate or additional cover. Without it, your club could be exposed to costly claims for injury, damage, or cancellation. Here are our tips to stay covered ⬇️ ⏩ Notify your broker or insurer early. They can advise if your planned event is covered under your existing policy or if you need anything added. ⏩ Keep risk assessments for each event.
