Unlike traditional hinged doors, this design relies on a heavy-duty pivot axis to support a much larger, more expansive opening. This allows the door to swing with an effortless feel despite its significant scale, creating a focal point that functions as a structural statement. We needed to make sure everything went smoothly, though, so our team managed the job from initial measurements through to a millimetre-perfect fitting, making sure it stands up to the corrosive coastal winds. 💯 It’s a testament to the durability of our aluminium frames, providing the necessary durability to survive that Cape Town sun without sacrificing the clean, sophisticated aesthetic our clients expect. This level of precision is possible because we machine these larger scales in-house.
