Their preference for crushing weapons is deliberate: bone can be broken without ruining armour, flesh subdued without spoiling what may later be sold, traded, or dedicated to Mammon. Within the wider conflict, the Auric Collectors form the economic backbone of Mammon’s war. They secure funding, rare materials, and relics that cannot be forged or replicated, only taken. Through their hands flow the spoils that sustain hidden networks of merchants and moneylenders across the Faithful nations, ensuring a constant circulation of arms, influence, and corruption. To encounter a Collector is to understand that the war is not only about victory, but about ownership. Even defeat holds value in their eyes, and even the dead remain assets awaiting claim.
