Day 1 — around lunch time that day she came running to grab my attention. She looked down and said "I feel wet." She recognized it. She recognized the sensation of peeing for the first time. Day 3 — She was playing with her lego blocks when she suddenly stopped, stood up and made a beeline for the potty. Day 8 — She was using the potty on her own just about every time. Still the occasional accident but it was a huge difference from the previous week. Day 12 — No puddles. No accidents. No mess. She was using the potty every single time. I didn't even have to tell her. Less than two weeks. That's literally all it took to get her using the potty on her own. It was a big relief. Especially with kindergarten just around the corner. Now I could send her there with confidence knowing that she would be able to use the bathroom independently. So if your little one is starting kindergarten soon and they're still not potty trained yet, there's a high likelihood it's what they're wearing.
