An injured oriental stork is learning to walk again with a custom-made prosthetic leg at a zoo in Tianjin, China. The bird was found with a severely damaged leg in July 2024 and later underwent amputation. A rescue team fitted it with an eco-friendly prosthesis made of resin, silicone and shock-absorbing materials. The stork is recovering steadily and will be assessed for a possible return to the wild. #ChinaSeen
