The Lion’s Gate Portal is created when the Sun in Leo aligns with the star Sirius, Orion’s Belt, and the Earth and occurs every year from 28 July through 12 August. The peak of this celestial alignment occurs on 8 August – 8/8. Our Metaphysical Market will be on Saturday 8/8 from noon-6pm at the Hi-Tone 482 N. Cleveland St. A time of intense activation, the Lion’s Gate Portal facilitates spiritual awakening and growth, intention-setting, and an increased ability to hear spiritual messages. It’s also a time with a strong vibration of abundance and opportunities for manifestation and greater cosmic connections. And while the energetic of this alignment supports personal empowerment, this year it is also directing our attention to possibilities of social and global transformation, encouraging us all to channel the benefits of our personal journeys of spiritual and emotional growth towards working collectively for a better world. And the Triple 8* of this year’s Lion’s Gate Portal has a particularly powerful resonance. This Triple 8 Portal provides an especially rich environment for transformation, manifestation, and conscious evolution, on individual and collective levels. The Lion’s Gate Portal Metaphysical Market will feature many tools and handcrafted items for your meditative, spiritual, and ritual work during the Portal and beyond: crystals and stones, herbal prayer candles, wands, tarot cards, pendulums, crystal daggers, handcrafted journals, sacred divination candles, and more. Other cool, unique, and beautiful creations that will be offered by our wonderful vendors include natural stone jewelry, rune sets, stained glass artworks, chainmail jewelry, pottery, natural body products, sacred geometry jewelry, and paintings. For this event, many of our vendors are creating special artworks and items that reflect the metaphysical theme and/or relate to the Lion’s Gate alignment, as inspired by their own intuitions. Various kinds of tarot and oracle readings will also be available. And we’ll have some potions specially created for the occasion: alcoholic drinks, natural juices, Third Eye and other metaphysically oriented teas, and other homemade herbal tea blends. Gourmet homemade desserts will also be for sale. Vendor spotlights will be posted on this page, providing details about each vendor and photos of some of their items.
