Kazakhstan is hosting production of the next film in Jackie Chan’s legendary adventure franchise, “Armour of God”. Kaspi.kz has become the general partner for the production of “Armour of God: Ultimatum.” Filming will take place in Mangystau and Almaty regions, as well as in Almaty, Astana, and Turkestan, among unique natural locations personally selected by Jackie Chan during his visit to Kazakhstan in late 2025. Part of the filming will also take place in Hong Kong. Mikheil Lomtadze, co-founder and CEO of Kaspi.kz: “We are delighted that the next chapter of Jackie Chan’s iconic film franchise is being filmed here in Kazakhstan. This is an important project for us, as it will help even more people around the world discover what an incredibly beautiful, modern, and welcoming country Kazakhstan is. We thank our partners Sәlem Entertainment and Adal Investments for their initiative, and wish Jackie Chan and the entire film crew every success during production in Kazakhstan.” Igor Tsay, CEO of Sәlem Entertainment: “For the entire film industry, and for Sәlem Entertainment in particular, taking part in this project is both a great responsibility and a unique opportunity to deliver a high-level international film project. The project will bring together leading experts from the global film industry, including professionals from Hollywood, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, and other countries in the region, helping ensure its execution at high international standard. A project of this scale has been made possible thanks to the support of reliable local partners, including Kaspi.kz.” “Armour of God” is one of the most famous adventure franchises in Jackie Chan’s career. The first film was released in 1986 and became a global hit. The project was initiated by Sәlem Entertainment and Adal Investments. The premiere of “Armour of God: Ultimatum” is scheduled for February 2027.
