Chiropractic didn’t just become my profession, it quite literally changed the course of my life. As an undergraduate, I suffered a severe back injury while playing rugby. For two months the pain was overwhelming. I couldn’t walk properly and my future in the sport I loved felt uncertain. I initially went to the medical doctor where he prescribed steroids to try and help reduce the pain and inflammation. However, nothing seemed to last. At the time, my coaches happened to be chiropractors. They encouraged me to commit to consistent chiropractic care, and over the following weeks, without medications or invasive procedures, my body began to heal. In fact, after the second adjustment and treatment I was able to stand up straight again. Not only did I make a full recovery, but I also returned to the rugby field stronger than before. That experience planted a seed that would shape everything that followed. Because of my recovery and dedication, I was recruited to play rugby for Palmer Chiropractic College, where I received a scholarship to play even after my injury. It was there that my belief became unshakable: I owe everything I have to chiropractic. It restored my body, redirected my purpose, and showed me what is possible when the body is given the right support to heal. Today, I’m proud to call myself a chiropractor, but even prouder to call myself a husband and father. I’m married to my incredible wife Kelly, and together we are raising our three amazing children, Colin, Jay, and Mckenna. I was born and raised in Arlington Heights, and I’m grateful to still call it home after 44 years. This community has given me so much acceptance, support, and joy. I attended Olive, Thomas, and Hersey growing up, and it means the world to me to now raise my children in the same community that shaped who I am. My wife is also a local product, having attended South Middle School and Rolling Meadows High School, making our roots here even deeper. My mission is simple but powerful: to educate and serve this community through chiropractic and other non-invasive modalities, helping people realize their full potential without unnecessary drugs or surgery. I believe everyone deserves access to top-level, conservative care that honors the body’s natural ability to heal. It is a privilege to serve Arlington Heights, and I’m honored every day that people trust me with their health and their stories, just as chiropractic once changed mine.
