We don't know how the funding process works, & all we hear is that it's HYPER competitive. So usually, we just hope for the best as we submit our applications, not knowing how important it actually is to start thinking about funding VERY early. And if it doesn't work out, we often clamber to secure alternative funding only AFTER our acceptances (like I managed to), or even despite those efforts, have to turn down our offers because there is no guide or resource on this!
