JUNE 2026 – MONTH OF THE DEMONSTRATION OF THE SPIRIT AND POWER Based on 1 Corinthians 2:4–5 WEEK 1: THE REALITY OF GOD’S POWER DAY 1: The Power of God Is Real Today’s Scripture: Romans 1:13-20 Key Verse: “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” – Romans 1:20 Reflection on the Word: Many people believe that God exists, yet far fewer live with a genuine expectation of experiencing His power. They know about God, sing about God, and even pray to God, but they struggle to believe that His power can still transform situations today. In Romans 1:13–20, Paul reminds us that God's power is not hidden. From the vastness of the heavens to the complexity of creation, everything points to His eternal power and divine nature. The same God who created the universe has not changed. His power remains active, present, and available. Christianity was never intended to be merely a philosophy, tradition, or intellectual pursuit. It is a living relationship with a living God whose power produces real results. God's power changes lives, restores hope, breaks chains, heals hearts, opens doors, and accomplishes what human strength cannot achieve. One of the greatest obstacles to experiencing God's power is not unbelief but low expectation. Many people have become accustomed to a form of faith that expects little and therefore receives little. They pray without expectation, worship without anticipation, and approach life assuming that nothing will change. But Scripture presents a different reality. God is still at work. His power is still transforming lives and circumstances. The issue is not whether God has power; the issue is whether we are expecting Him to demonstrate it. As we begin this new month, allow your expectation to rise. Refuse to limit God by past disappointments or present challenges. The God whose power is revealed throughout creation is able to reveal that same power in your life. This month, believe not only in the existence of God's power but also in its reality and operation in your daily experience. Prophetic Insight: Your awareness of God's power is increasing. This month, you shall witness tangible manifestations of His power, and your life shall become a testimony of what God can do. In Jesus' name, Amen. Pastoral Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift up every reader before You today. Thank You for revealing Yourself not only through Your Word but also through Your power. Where disappointment, delay, or routine have weakened expectation, let fresh faith arise. Open their spiritual eyes to recognise Your hand at work in their lives and circumstances. May they move beyond merely hearing about Your power to experiencing it personally. Let every area marked by weakness encounter Your strength, every limitation encounter Your ability, and every challenge become an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed. Let their confidence be rooted not in human ability but in Your unfailing power and faithfulness. As they walk with You, let their lives bear evidence of Your transforming work. May they become living testimonies of what Your power can accomplish in those who believe in Jesus' name, Amen. Personal Declarative Prayer Points Now, Righteous Ones, boldly declare and command your day: 1. I experience the reality of God's power at work in every area of my life, in Jesus' name. Amen. 2. My faith is strong, active, and fully persuaded that God is able, in Jesus' name. Amen. 3. I live with expectation, knowing that God is working on my behalf, in Jesus' name. Amen. 4. The power of God is producing transformation, breakthrough, and victory in my life, in Jesus' name. Amen. 5. I reject spiritual complacency and embrace a life of faith, expectation, and manifestation, in Jesus' name. Amen. 6. My life reflects the power, presence, and glory of God, in Jesus' name. Amen. 7. I walk in divine strength, supernatural grace, and kingdom authority every day, in Jesus' name. Amen. Application/Challenge: Shift from routine—approach your faith today with expectation. Closing Blessing: May the power of God become real to you and evident in your life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
