Since March 2023, Doctors Without Borders has been responding to the evolving needs of patients at Cherkasy hospital in central Ukraine, supporting the rehabilitation project. Early intervention is crucial to improve people’s quality of life and prevent long-term complications. Rehabilitation centres are essential sites of care for many people injured in the war in Ukraine. They offer a holistic approach to healing the physical wounds and psychological trauma of the ongoing violence.
