Setsucon 2027

Winter's Warmest Anime Celebration returns for its 20th Anniversary on January 29th - 31st, 2027 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania - bringing a weekend long adventure through all things anime, gaming, cosplay, and Japanese culture. Find your next adventure at Pennsylvania’s winter home of anime and Japanese culture. From cosplay contests to concerts, car shows to tournaments, panels to performances, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Setsucon. Come join the convention that has been bringing our love of anime, manga, cosplay, and more together for twenty years. Stay tuned to our social media and Facebook event throughout the year for more information. --- Setsucon is hosted by the Penn State Anime Organization (PSAO). Since September 2001, the PSAO has been bringing anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture to the Penn State-University Park community. Through weekly anime screenings, video game nights, a manga library, and many more activities across campus, PSAO provides a social environment for Penn State’s anime/manga fan base while continuing to grow to bring more to the community. For its efforts, it was named the Penn State Student Organization of the Year in 2018.
