This is my proudest accomplishment at BRUNT. Most people see the brand and think about the boots, the pants, or the unbelievable growth numbers we’ve put up. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of the gear we build and the results we’ve delivered. But if you asked me what I’m actually the most proud of since starting this company, it’s this group of people. Building a brand is hard. Building a team of 111 genuinely good people, who actually give a shit, and enjoy working with one another day in and day out is even harder. When we’re hiring, we look for more than just a resume. We look for integrity. We look for people who want to build something that actually matters for the blue-collar men and women who keep this country running. It’s so important to our culture that I still personally interview every single person we hire. Whether we’re celebrating the wins or grinding through the challenges, these are the people who bring the vision to life every single day. They are the ones laying the bricks around here. I’m a firm believer that if you treat your team right, they’ll treat your customers right. And our customers - the plumbers, the electricians, and the truck drivers out there - they deserve the best. They deserve a team that fights for them like their lives depend on it. Because when they’re wearing our gear on a job site, sometimes it does.
