A booking for Stage One will get you on a 7-day cycling trip from Cape Dolosman on Razim Lake in Romania to the foothills of the Balkan Mountain in Bulgaria. The bike travel will be marked by the fresh spring weather, the final chords of the bird migration, the timid leafing of the forest and the cool sea breeze. Through your participation you would become a messenger of the Black Sea Route, supporting and assisting in a new hiking and cycling route along the panoramic seaside of the European Black Sea Coast. The event is organized by friends for friends and guests to create visibility and gain attention for the Route's development! ______________________________________ For Black Sea Route Epic 12-day full tour participation visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/2665978423757007/?acontext=%7B%22event_action_history%22%3A[%7B%22mechanism%22%3A%22attachment%22%2C%22surface%22%3A%22newsfeed%22%7D]%2C%22ref_notif_type%22%3Anull%7D ______________________________________ + General information: - Dates: 24.04.2026 - 05.05.2026 - Duration: 12 or 6 days option; - Registration: until 20.03.2025 or until the places to participate are full; - Payment of participation fee: until 20.03.2025. + Registration form: Registration will begin on Monday, January 19th, and we will additionally publish a registration form with details about the event. + WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: - The tour is suitable for ADVANCED cyclists, over the age of 14; - PARTICIPATION OF PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE IS ONLY WITH AN ADULT ACCOMPANY. + Suitable bicycle: For riding on dirt and forest trails - mountain, hybrid or gravel, must be in good condition. + Route: - Terrain: mostly coastal dirt and forest routes and trails, asphalt where there are no other options and in populated areas; - Distance: 740 km; - Total elevation gain: +8500 m / - 8500 m; - Average daily distance: 60 km; - Average daily elevation gain: +750 m / -750 m; - Riding pace - moderate, steady, maintaining an average speed of about 10-12 km/h. + Accommodation: Overnight stays will be in guesthouses, campsites and hotels. + Food: - In the accommodations we will have the option of dinner/breakfast for an additional fee; - After 01.03., we will publish an application form for registered participants; + Participation fee: 12 days - 280 euro / 6 days - 180 euro The price includes: - organizational costs; - transfer of people and bicycles from Varna to Jurilovca; - transfer of people and bicycles from Rezovo to Burgas and Varna; - accompanying luggage transport; - licensed bicycle guide. The price does not include: - accommodation; - food; - insurance for the duration of the tour; - fees for visiting tourist sites. + Bicycle rent (optional): - 110/70 euro for a trekking bike; - 200/120 euro for an electric bike.
