ᥫ᭡. Review: The Light That Grew With Me 🍂🧡🌼🍯 ᥫ᭡. Author: Vishnu Tej Gunisati Some poetry books feel like a performance, and some feel like a quiet conversation with your own heart. The Light That Grew With Me by Vishnu is definitely the second kind. It’s soft, reflective, and full of those little emotional moments that make you pause and go, “wait, that’s exactly how growing up feels.” Through 21 gentle poems, the book traces the journey from childhood wonder to the bittersweet reality of adulthood. It talks about laughter, silence, heartbreak, healing, all the tiny experiences that slowly shape who we become. Nothing dramatic, nothing loud, just honest emotions that quietly stay with you. No overcomplicated lines trying to sound poetic for the sake of it. Instead, the poems focus on feelings we all recognize but rarely put into words. And that’s what makes the collection feel so personal and relatable. Reading this felt like scrolling through memories you didn’t realize were still sitting in your heart. A little nostalgic, a little comforting, and a little emotional in the best way. The kind of poetry that makes you reflect on the person you used to be, and the person you’re still becoming. If you love soft, introspective poetry that gives “late night thoughts and healing energy,” this one deserves a spot on your shelf.
