Swipe through for each of the seven & comment “Peptides” below 👇 to read the full article. In July, an FDA advisory committee reviewed seven peptides for the 503A compounding list. Six were recommended; one was not. An important distinction: this is not FDA approval, and the vote is nonbinding. It is a recommendation that licensed pharmacies be permitted to compound these substances, and formal rulemaking still has to follow. Notably, the committee’s reservations centred less on the underlying research than on the market around it (inconsistent naming conventions, unverified sourcing, and variable quality in injectable products.) That is precisely why peptide therapy belongs in a clinical setting: appropriate candidacy assessment, baseline and follow-up labs, and a verified supply chain. #peptidetherapy #wolverinestack #peptides #medicalaesthetics #peptide
